The Syrian Women’s Association announces its need for an employee to fill the position of “External Outreach Worker”
Work location: Syria / Jisr Al-Shughur
Number required: 4, 2 males and 2 females
Contract duration: 11 months
• University degree in social sciences, or any field related to marketing or social communication.
• Previous experience in field work and community awareness, preferably in the field of women and children.
• Required conditions:
• University degree in psychology, social work, or any field related to the social sciences.
• Previous experience in social work or case management, preferably with women and girls.
• Experience in the field of combating gender-based violence..
Skills:
• Ability to plan and implement awareness campaigns.
• Excellent skills in communication and interaction with various segments of society.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Presentation skills.
• Familiarity with social media tools.
Responsibilities:
• Planning and implementing community awareness campaigns on women and children’s issues.
• Communicating with the local community and mobilizing public opinion.
• Organizing seminars and training workshops.
• Preparing awareness materials (brochures, posters, videos).
• Follow up and evaluate the impact of awareness campaigns.
