The Syrian Women’s Association announces its need for an employee to fill the position of “Social Respite Support Worker”
Work location: Syria / Jisr Al-Shughour
Required number: 2
Contract duration: 11 months
Required conditions:
• University degree in psychology, social work, or any field related to the social sciences.
• Experience: Previous experience in the field of training and mentoring, preferably with women.
• Skills:
o The ability to assess the psychological and social needs of beneficiaries.
o Excellent communication and effective listening skills.
o The ability to build trusting relationships with beneficiaries.
o Problem solving and decision making skills.
o Ability to work individually and collectively.
o Familiarity with different methods of psychosocial support.
o The ability to deal with psychological and social pressures.
• Responsibilities:
o Providing individual and group psychosocial support to beneficiaries.
o Facilitating workshops and support sessions.
o Design and implement recreational and entertainment activities.
o Referring critical cases to specialists.
o Documenting cases and submitting periodic reports.
